Tying it all Together

As we saw on the previous pages of this exhibit, using technology for distant reading of these programs can assist us in identifying larger questions that we can scrutinize with close reading.  The use of word clouds and word trends are just two of a wide array of tools available to us for exploring this data through textual analysis.  We'll be sure to share with you our findings as we continue to explore this data set at Temple University's Digital Scholarship Center.  If you have any questions for us, either on how this research is conducted or questions you would like us to explore, please reach out to Matt Shoemaker directly at mshoemaker@temple.edu.
