Description:
This workshop would be designed for each participant to be able to learn and make a bustle. The bustle to be made would be a one-size-fits-all, tie-on bustle with an open front. A premade kit to help with the lack of sewing machines would be provided to each attendee. Each bustle kit would include tools, a sewing needle, safe scissors, thread, measuring tape, marking chalk, safety pins, and pins. The bustle kit would also include the bustle materials prepped to save time and lack of a sewing machine. Examples would be provided for the steps that needed to be skipped, but there would still be hand stitch assembly for the bustle so each participant could have hands-on experience creating their own bustle. A full explanation of the missed steps would be demonstrated as best as possible without a sewing machine.
This is an instructional class on how to make lace chokers from a premade kit with hand-sewing.
Description:
This is a workshop where each participant will get to finish a lace ribbon choker with a cameo charm with premade kits provided. The kits will include tools, safety scissors, 2 needles, pins, and pre-waxed thread. Supplies in the kit would include precut lace, ribbon, and a prepped cameo charm. You will be taught step-by-step how to put the chokers together by hand and learn certain stitches. This would be a great course for very beginners who want an easy 1st project.

Workshop with provide materials to teach techniques on how to add lace applique to garments.
Description:
Participants will be provided with a kit to help them learn how to embellish existing garments with lace applique. The kit will include tools, a sewing needle, safety scissors, and different colored threads. It will also include several cuts of lace fabric and a piece of the base fabric to use as their test garment. I would also encourage participants to bring their own garments to embellish so they can walk out with a decorated item they can wear. However, the provided tools should help them develop the the skills to bring home to apply the lessons on other costumes.
Cosplay wig styling tips, tricks, and how-to's for beginner and intermediate cosplayers. This will be a workshop in which a wig will be provided as part of the admission on which to work.
Description:
This workshop will cover a variety of basic and intermediate level styling tips for cosplay wigs. You can expect to learn how to spike your wig, create volume for larger styles, style an updo without showing wefts, the basics of wig alterations, and more! At the end of the day you'll get to take home the wig you're working on for reference or to wash out and style for your next cosplay.
