Normandy beaches are a long way/time from now. You have spent the last 9 months trying to make sense of this world. You feel that a way back is possible if one of you can just master the use of the world's magic. You allied yourself with a King and a Czar against the Empire of Man. You saved the Princess from a bunch of human sacrificing magic-wielding islanders. Now Roun is in sight, but it is burning. The 7 factions of Roun where always at odds, but now it seems the Water & Air Factions have made their move against the Czar and civil has broken out in Roun. You were counting on Roun as an ally to help fight the Empire of Man. You need the Czar alive and safe, no matter the cost.
