Farm beans, harvest crops and trade your way to fortune in this card game classic.
Description:
Each player starts with a hand of random bean cards, and each card has a number on it corresponding to the number of that type of beans in the deck. You can't rearrange the order of cards in hand, so you must use them in the order that you've picked them up from the deck - unless you can trade them to other players, which is the heart of the game. Plant, then harvest bean cards in order to earn coins and win! Learn how to play the game in preparation for the 2023 U.S. National Bohnanza Championship (CGM23ND234567) Saturday at 1:00 PM.
A drafting and set collection card game about kintsugi, the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with golden lacquer.
Description:
Different types of pottery score differently, but some pieces inevitably break — and players can influence which ones. Broken pottery is worthless, but players can use gold to repair their shattered collections, and when they do, their value grows greater than when they were brand new. Grant’s Game Recs says it’s “Card drafting and set collection… [that’s] more gorgeous than Sushi Go and also more strategic."
