The pirates of the ship The Bloodwynd sail the seas for treasure and a chance to knock their rivals, the Sea Wraiths and The Wizard Lupus out of the pirating business. Some ancient underwater menace has been rumored to have taken the wife of the ship's captain. So far nobody on the ship believes in such rumors, except for a few foolish adventurers and their pet dragon.
After a close shave with death at the hands or shall we say tentacles of evil? The ship's crew finds a bit of fun, fighting their old rivals the Sea Wraiths over an abandoned ship. One of the many spys of the Bloodwynd have seen the inside of the vessel, which has been said to contain an army of clay warrior sculptures.
