Join us for a 5-game Dominion tournament featuring all expansions. Prizes for the winner and top competitors! Each round will have a different theme, and you will play all 5 games, no matter your wins and losses. We will award placement points for each game based on the order in which you finish – 1st place receives 4 placement points, 2nd place gets 3, 3rd place gets 2 and 4th place gets 1 – and track your victory points scored per game. We will play 4 games, and then will rank all players. Your placement points will count 1st and your victory point total will count second to determine your ranking and where you compete in the final round. The top 4 contenders will then duke it out at the championship table in Round 5 for a big prize and bragging rights. Each winner in Round 5 will be awarded a prize.
In Dominion, each player starts with an identical, very small deck of cards. In the center of the table is a selection of other cards the players can "buy" as they can afford them. Through their selection of cards to buy, and how they play their hands as they draw them, the players construct their deck on the fly, striving for the most efficient path to the precious victory points by game end. Dominion is not a CCG, but the play of the game is similar to the construction and play of a CCG deck. The game comes with 500 cards. You select 10 of the 25 Kingdom card types to include in any given play—leading to immense variety.
