Mechs painted like classic WWF/WWE tag teams. Each player gets 1 team. Last team standing wins. Prize awarded to the champion, most kills and last place.
Description:
Ever wonder what the WWE/WWF tag teams would be like if they were on Solaris VII? Me neither, but let's try it. Each player receives two mechs. One mech on the map at a time per team. Player can tag their teammate in and have their tagged out mech slowly repaired. Custom made map, and custom painted mechs. Tag teams range from the Bushwhackers to the Rock and Sock connection.

Description:
You start with the lowest level mech with the most basic equipment. When you die you move up to the next level which contains mechs with slightly more advanced equipment. Through this progression you learn how to use all the common equipment in Battletech. This game is not paused or restarted at event breaks, we just add/remove players and collect tickets for those continuing then continue play without resetting the board or players continuing on into the next session. Sign-up for as many blocks as fit into your schedule (even if they are not contiguous), you will receive a report card as a way to sort of "save" your progress so you can come back later in the con and continue playing. All ability levels are welcome but if you have never played Battletech before it is recommended that you play Battletech Bootcamp first.

Learn (or relearn) to play. Perfect for new players, even those without miniature or tabletop experience.
Description:
This is an hour-long event that will teach you to play the game using the standard rules that we use in all our other games (not intro, quick-start, or shortened rules) and will give you an overview of the greater Battletech universe and miniatures gaming hobby. Each player will use only one mech on a one vs. one battle against the person sitting opposite them on a basic map sheet. As a group, the GM will walk the players through each step of the turn process and introduce the universe/gaming hobby. After a couple turns done step by step with the GM, players will try to complete more turns against each other with the GM there to provide help and clarity as needed. Once you have completed this event players are encouraged to keep learning by playing in the Battletech Grinder.

This game is a miniatures-based combined-arms mass-combat game that uses all the units you know from Battletech. It is designed to let you play larger scale battles (many, many units) in a few hours or a smaller game much quicker. It is also miniatures-based, which means the board is not hexed like in classic Battletech and instead miniatures rules are used. Likewise, instead of using the 8.5" by 11" record sheet per mech that classic Battletech uses, the game uses a playing card size record sheet per unit (though these are often printed on one sheet of paper to save space and be better organized). This event will teach all of the basics of the game system so you can then feel confident to play on your own or in our other Alpha Strike events.
