Things have been tight before, but never this tight, and the sheer audacity of it! 1 mean, actually raiding the headquarters of the thieves guild! Well, enough is enough. In this AD&D adventure you must strike a blow for the darkside when you assault the castle of the oppressive “Good King Roland” and his 8 obnoxious, paladin captains.
This six-man team AD&D competition is designed to challenge the abilities of AD&D players of the highest calibre. All aspects of their skill will be tested, from melee to spell casting and parley. Players need not register as a team necessarily; individuals which show up in the meeting area will be grouped into teams.
Character sheets will be mailed out in July to those who preregister before, June 31, 1982, so that the players will have enough time to get “to know” their character’s personality. The players will not only be judged on how many monsters they kill or puzzles solved, but how well you role play. When registering please request your favorite race and class and the judge will try to accomadate. The players will attempt to recover a very valuable and “magical” ring from an “abandoned?” dungeon whose upper levels are filled with traps and puzzles and whose lower levels may not be quite so abandoned. The winner will receive a one year RPGA membership or extension to there existing membership.
A new game. This game is a “floating game” in which players can enter or leave the game at any time. Victory conditions will be evaluated on best cumulative performance.
