Martin, the A Game of Thrones board game lets players take control of one of the great Houses of Westeros and embark on an epic struggle to claim the Iron Throne. Immerse yourself in a game of clever planning, careful allocation of power, diplomacy, and the exciting flavor of A Song of Ice and Fire.
Classic "Pick a Block" format in which players can chose to play any block from Westeros, Ice & Fire, Valyrian or Winter editions. Players must must stay within their chosen block when selecting cards. All promos are legal for any block. Premium starter cards are only legal for the block in which they were originally printed.

Each player brings a plot deck ONLY. Players are randomly assigned to six tables, one table for each house. There is one deck per game and all players draw from this deck, playing their prepared plot deck. The winner of each "Civil War" will then advance to round two, playing the plot deck and civil war deck against the winner of the five other civil wars.

This is a Mage: The Ascension tournament run by a couple of experienced storytellers. The story will be more lighthearted than serious, with a major focus on having as much fun and as many laughs as possible. Players will be judged based on their creativity, role-playing ability, and how well they stay in character. At the end of each round, all players will score their fellows and the winners will move on. This is the championship round of the tournament.
