The Axis & Allies D-Day Tournament is back by popular demand! This will be the third year running for this exciting event. It will be a four round single elimination one/two player team tournament(32 players Max.) Bid for the Axis to determine sides. Bring a copy of the game! Finals will be Thursday evening. Play Avalon Hill's classic game of chariot racing in ancient Rome. 6 to 8 players will choose from a mix of pre-generated drivers and chariots, and race three laps with 25mm miniatures. Two GM's will moderate the event and keep things moving. So whip your horses and ram your opponents' chariots into the wall -- pro strepitum praepare!

This event is a single elimination tournament based on the 2nd edition rules with a bid for the Allies (IPC's are offered to the Axis). Winning will advance players to the next round. This is round one of a 4 round event. Those who advance will be in round 2 Friday @ 9a.m. Participants are asked to bring a copy of the game. Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

Participants will bid for their side of choice with option of first bid based upon winning a coin flip. This could be a warm-up session for the Mega-tournament as well as an alternative to it.
