This game is three interlocking games, each of three eras played on a different board. Players settle the inner solar system, and then explore and develop beyond to Mars, then triumphantly send missions to nearby star systems and establish interstellar colonies. Undertake a mission to Alpha Centauri in a generation ship. Break through technological barriers to achieve faster-than-light travel. Establish a colony in the Tau Ceti star system. The game is easy to learn, thematic, but with a underlying core of scientific reasoning behind the rules.
Players get shipwrecked on a deserted island. They work together acting on behalf of the group by hunting, exploring, develop food or tech, or build shelter to survive and accomplish the goal.

Description:
Energy Empire uses worker placement, tableau-building, and resource management mechanics. On each turn, a player can choose to either work or generate. On a work turn, a player plays a single worker on the main board, then uses workers and energy to activate cards in their tableau. Players may spend energy to use an occupied space on the main board, so no spaces are ever completely blocked. On a generate turn, players get to renew their supply of energy by rolling "energy dice" that represent nuclear, coal, oil, solar, and other forms of energy.
