This event is for the original starter decks only. Players bring 4 different standard decks. Before the event, players will specify which deck they will play for each round. If the 1 game final is necessary, the 2 undefeated players will use Pick Your Poison format.(for details, please see Pick Your Poison event) Gaming boards will be provided. Matches will be timed with chess clocks to keep event on schedule and deter analysis paralysis. This will be a swiss style tournament. Up to 4 rounds depending on the number of participants. Final will only be played if there is more than 1 undefeated player after 4 rounds.
