In this interactive workshop, you’ll learn how to harness your inner power and prepare your body and mind to face fierce competition through the practice of mindfulness meditation and breathwork (pranayama). Activities will center on cultivating increased mental clarity and developing laser-sharp focus. You will also leave with simple breathing exercises you can practice anytime to give you a boost of energy when hours of competition leave you drained. No prior meditation experience required. In this interactive workshop, you'll be introduced to the fundamentals of Thai yoga massage practice. Through demonstration and hands-on practice, you'll learn a blissful 20-minute massage sequence, gaining first-hand experience in both giving and receiving Thai massage to share with your friends and family. Thai Yoga Massage is an accessible form of assisted hatha yoga, combining meditation, yoga, acupressure and compassion. You don’t have to be an expert in order to produce outstanding results. This workshop will show you how to tap into your own innate abilities to give a sensational massage. This is perfect for couples, but no partner required.
Students will learn to decorate 2 cupcakes with characters or starships from Star Wars. Buttercream, fondant, & edible markers will be used in this class.
