In the Song of Summer Tournament each player will start with one A Song of Summer Chapter Pack and one Draft Pack. Players will then be separated into draft pods to draft 4 Five Kings Edition booster packs. This event will only happen if all Top 16 players agree to this time; otherwise, this event already happened! Winner of this event will earn a fully playable character card depicting them!
This is what it's all about. The ultimate test of an individuals UFS tournament skills. 128 contestants enter, one leaves victorious as the UFS Worlds 2008 Champion! Winners will receive character cards of themselves that are fully legal in tournament play. Check the website to see how you can earn a seat in this tournament.
Final rounds of the UFS Worlds 2008 tournament. If top 16 players agree unanimously, this event will be postponed until Sunday morning at 10am. Winner will receive fully legal character cards of themselves to distribute at their discretion.
Special tournament: You must have exactly 60 cards in your deck (including your starting character card.) In your deck, you must have ten 1 control check cards, ten 2 control check cards, ten 3 control check cards, ten 4 control check cards, ten 5 control check cards, and ten 6 control check cards. Standard rules apply.

Players will compete against each other in standard format, head to head play, through six preliminary rounds, using swiss pairing. After the sixth round, the field will cut to a top 8, who will play off against each other in elimination brackets until only one player remains. This player is named the A Game of Thrones GenCon Jousting Champion.

The best UFS players on Earth will be teaming up to represent their favorite core hobby retailers to immortalize themselves in the UFS universe! The winning team will win a fully playable Asset card depicting their sponsoring store and team. Top 4 Team's members will earn a spot in Saturday's World event. Official Team Rules will be available on the website.
