The game will use antique 4.7 inch, spring loaded, toy Naval guns by W. Britains that fire dowels to knock down toy soldiers. The full title of H.G. Wells' book: "Little Wars: a game for boys from twelve years of age to one hundred and fifty and for that more intelligent sort of girl who likes boys' games and books." This book is the first set of commercially published military miniatures rules and is the ancestor of modern miniature wargaming.
