Interstellar travel is generally safe, but when something goes wrong what hope does one have? Serious RP about relationships & difficult decisions.
Description:
A proximity alert brings the ship lurching out of hyperspace. A rush of movement as passengers and crew are propelled into lifeboats by alarm klaxons. As the small ships detach, there is a moment of calm, but time is running out. Adrift explores relationships, allegiances, acceptance, very difficult decisions and their equally difficult consequences. This game has little focus on plot, action, or problem solving. It has a significant focus on characters and choosing to experience a time and place in game we would never want to experience in reality. Rules are simple and will be taught. Role playing emphasized.
Inspired by Jim Butcher's Dresden Files. War between the Red Court & the White Council has wreaked havoc on all the supernatural nations. Is it time for peace? Bargains & betrayals in equal measure.
The Fae King of Eiren welcomes his brother king from Briton. Can Queen Maeve keep the peace, or will hotter heads prevail? Role playing & problem solving stressed, Irish accents encouraged.
Description:
Matters are still shaky as THE BALANCE between the Dark and Light Fae Courts, the Wildlings, and the Humans of Eiren teeters on the brink of collapsing. So a visit from the King and Queen of the Fae Courts of Briton is not going to help matters at all. The last time the Fae Courts met the war lasted a hundred years and raged across the two islands and the continent. But that was a long time ago and surely......
A christening, a funeral, & a coronation bring dangerous people together- people who will kill for power. Can you survive the celebrations of Life & Death? Role playing & problem solving stressed.
Description:
The death of Queen Annivella means the crowning of a new king and the joining of two kingdoms. Not everyone is happy about this, and some will kill to stop the joining from happening. And how fortunate that the birth of Prince Raynell gives a focus to those who do not want King Argoren on the throne of Kilmarra. Politics makes for deadly bedfellows.
Join your fellow lesser known soul guides to try to gain more followers, commiserate with old friends, & perhaps settle old grudges.
Description:
Welcome to the annual meeting of the Second Hand Spirit Animals at Sandy Springs Retreat, Oregon. The lesser known soul guides have gathered to try to gain more followers, commiserate with old friends, and perhaps settle old grudges. Last year's meeting didn't go so well (poor Tapeworm), but House Fly has a brand new plan to get more people to believe in you all. And that's a good thing. What could go wrong? This is a comedy heavy, theater-style LARP for 16-20 players. Some roles are suitable for accompanied minors. Costuming Suggestions: Your spirit animal has possessed the body of a Retreat attendee. Tie dye is encouraged.
Silver Falls, Colorado had seen its share of ups & downs, but nothing compared to the events of 1867 when a mess of strangers arrived to stir up trouble. Sci-fi & fantasy clash in the old west.
A new leader was elected & she's taking us Up Top. Who engineered mutants on the surface, & how did they make it into the water? Role-playing & problem-solving stressed.
Description:
To the dismay of the Real Humans campaign and the political competition, Allison Major was elected City Manager by a landslide, which means we’re exploring Up Top. A group of natural and engineered mutants found evidence of one city’s scientists’ explorations in mutation, and old controversies have resurfaced. Was it for the greater good, or was something more sinister in mind?
An experimental game of decisions & emotions. Players take turns making tough choices & representing the voices that influence those decisions. Mature content.
Description:
Welcome to The Road Not Taken. This is a game of emotions and decisions. There is no win or lose here. You will not have goals per se; instead, you will each play a character faced with a decision. There are no right or wrong answers here, and the choices are often difficult. In each scene, a different player will take on the role of a main character who is struggling to make a hard decision. The other players will take on the role of voices in the main character’s head. These voices may represent real people, emotions, or even concepts. The roles are assigned at random, but each player will have the opportunity to be the main character for at least one scene. The tone for this game is generally serious, but as a game that is driven by the emotions of the players, anything can happen.
