Miniature Conversion is changing an existing mini with bits and pieces from another. Do you like the head of one mini and the body of another? Need an axe on your character miniature, but the mini has a longsword? Class will discuss the tools and methods of basic conversions: head, limbs, and weapons swaps. Bring your own minis and bits to work with, or choose from my limited supply. All the tools and supplies needed for basic conversions will be available during class for your use.

Noted miniature painter Jen Haley demonstrates the painting of faux reflective surfaces on minis. She'll explain the principles behind NMM (non-metallic metal effects), gems and glass, shiny fabric and leather, and other instances where the placing of light and shadow are tricky. Participants are encouraged to bring their own models for feedback and suggestions. An illustrated technique guide and some painting materials will be available.
