How do you hold down a job, maintain a life and self-publish games?
Description:
I've been making and publishing games for 13 years. For all but 3 of those years, I held down an unrelated job in addition to other responsibilities. Over those 13 years I managed to produce over 15 titles. Sometimes at a rate of two a year. Staying productive and focused is nearly impossible in the face of Xbox, Netflix, HBO, movies, comics, ipads and legions of other distractions. But somehow we manage to do it. Let me share some of my tips and tricks with you—in addition to variety of dire warnings.
