It’s 2070. 49 years ago the president threatened a nuclear Cleanse for the True Religion. 47 years ago, he delivered. In the interim, nuclear-safe domes were developed for life in the deep sea, allowing a fraction of society to survive in peace. 3 years ago, mysterious beasts rose from the abyss. Nuclear mutations had been passed down through generations, and some of those affected- now known as the Mers- took to the water. A power-hungry government in the dome city Trident began using the mutations to engineer superior humans- the Tels- and the scandal left significant political backlash. Today, some folks want to explore Up Top to see what truly happened after the Cleanse. Others wish to remain in the domes, clinging to the idea of a paradise that was lost three years ago. The Mers and Tels are getting their own ideas. RP and problem solving stressed.

Taking place 300 years after the age of Avatar Wan- a gang of benders angered by the lion turtles’ abandonment of society is hunting the great beasts. Appalled by this, Avatar Shumai gathers a group of powerful benders to defend the lion turtles before the world is thrown any further out of balance. Avatar Shumai and his assembled benders comprise the player base for the game. Characters will seek out the elusive lion turtles and, once/if they find them, defend those creatures from the hunters. The Avatar universe, while often exploring mature topics, is lighthearted and accessible. As such, players are encouraged to be as silly (or serious) as they want with their character.
