Description:
Xen'drik is a contentment of adventure, and this year's D&D Open Championship pits heroes against its dangerous mysteries. A sequel to last year's Shards of Eberron, this team competition pits your D&D prowess against a challenging adventure and the other groups for the top prize. The winning team progresses to the semifinal at 1 p.m. on Saturday, and then possibly on to the final at 8 a.m. on Sunday.

The Darkness of Bromhead Manor by Geoff Skellams.The Maxwell children have come with their deathly ill mother to Bromhead Manor. It was hoped their mother's estranged half-brother could do something to alleviate their mother's condition and bring her back to health. But instead of a caring, kindly old man, they found their uncle to be a snarling, reclusive man, who locks himself in the western wing of the Manor, a place he has forbidden the children to explore. Strange things have started happening in the Manor, things that have the servants talking in hushed tones and refusing to elaborate.
