During a routine training patrol along the Romulan Neutral Zone, a mysterious force struck the USS Intrepid, rendering it helpless. Command staff, helm, weapons, communications and engines are all down. Fear, confusion and paranoia run rampant among the crew. The ship is adrift in space, and on a course that will take it into Romulan space in four hours. The crew must come together to resolve this crisis and avoid an interstellar incident.
