Attack the secret combine weapons research facility on Tokyo-3! Narrative-focused cooperative game with custom rules, featuring Mechwarrior clix mechanics & minis & Evangelion extras.
Description:
14 years ago, the top secret Draconis Combine weapons research facility on Tokyo-3 lost communications with the outside world after an asteroid impact. You have been sent to make contact. Will the inhabitants welcome your relief effort, or reject your attempts to plunder their advanced military technology? Are the other teams sent your friends, or will they stab you in the back to steal the secrets for themselves? This will be a mostly cooperative, narrative-focused game featuring Mechwarrior clix miniatures and basic rules, with Evangelion-themed additions and surprises. Familiarity with the source material is not strictly necessary, but will increase the enjoyability of the ridiculous crossover scenario.
Enter the deadliest arena in the Inner Sphere. Players begin with light mechs, working up with each defeat. Custom rules focus on fast mech combat. Clix provided, or bring your own.
Bring 2250 of units belonging to one faction [house alliance] to build for 900 point games. Eliminated units are removed for the remainder of the tournament. Pilots amongst the house alliance can be shared. You can reset units and rebuild armies between rounds. 3 rounds of 50 minutes each with 15 minutes between rounds.
Play old school with dark age rules. 300 points, 3 actions. No cards of any kind, no assault orders, no firing into or out of base contact. Maximum one each of VTOL, transport, and artillery. Minimum 1 mech.
Bring 900 points of balanced army for 3 rounds of random scenario with additional special rules for mission objectives and/or battlefield conditions (might be frozen lakes, explosive ruins, holding a center deployment zone or controlling a bridge).
The world of Arcana was untouched by the hand of
civilization, until Bannson's Raiders started development of an industrial Colony. The resources there would give Jacob Bannson a new edge in his goal for power.
The Clans plan to stop him.
Clan players take a skilled 450-point force against Bannson's forces of 750 points.
This non-stanctioned team event uses standard AoD rules, and is Unrestricted, allowing use of all Mechwarrior released figs. Join the battle for Arcana. Beginners welcome. Figures available.
