Summoner Wars Pick Your Poison Pre-Built Tournament
Summary:
Summon all your power to defeat your enemies on the battlefield! Bring 2 pre-built faction decks & roll off. Your opponent will pick the deck you will play each round.
Description:
This tournament will be run by the official Summoner Wars Organized Play rules. Tournament registration closes at 2:45pm on Saturday, August 19. Game boards will be provided. Each player must bring two legal faction decks, as well as dice and wound markers. Each round, players will roll off . The starting player will choose his opponent’s deck first. This will be a Swiss tournament of up to 5 rounds depending on the number of participants. A final will only be played if there is not 1 undefeated player after 5 rounds. The final, if needed, will be Pick your Poison. The times listed for this event include only the preliminary rounds. A 5x5 swiss style tournament comprised of pre-built decks including an Alliance Summoner & both 1st and 2nd Summoners of the factions that Alliance is comprised of.
Each player brings 4 pre-built faction decks. Prior to the event, player predetermine the order they will play each deck. Matches will be timed; up to 4 round event w/1 game final, if necessary.

If the 1 game final is necessary, the 2 undefeated players will use Pick Your Poison format.(for details, please see Pick Your Poison event) Gaming boards will be provided. Matches will be timed with chess clocks to keep event on schedule and deter analysis paralysis. This will be a swiss style tournament. Up to 4 rounds depending on the number of participants. Final will only be played if there is more than 1 undefeated player after 4 rounds.
