The Roadhouse Crew gets caught up in a plot between Heaven & Hell when an angel transports them back in time to the future (past?) site of a mysterious bunker.
Description:
Well, this sucks out loud AND sideways! First, there's falling stars & explosions & Heaven only knows what outside the Roadhouse (literally!), and then your Crew gets shanghaied by a freakin' angel into the distant past! Apparently, some crazy secret society is going to build a bunker to keep all supernatural knowledge safe, a bunker protected from every form of evil. That's great, sure, but apparently Hell has plans to foil that plan, by contaminating the site, so your Crew has to stop them before they start...your head hurts just thinking about it.
The Hunters run into trouble when there's an animalistic creature ripping people apart - & it seems to be a teenaged girl's cat.
Description:
Well, it might have been a werewolf, but then the next attack only happened a few nights later, after the full moon. Then someone was torn to shreds during the day, with their heart ripped in HALF, but not eaten. There's a family in town with something to hide (their teenaged daughter is even more smug than her damned Purebred Pedigree Abyssinian cat!), but it's not an allergy to silver. It might be abuse; the son has all-star syndrome out the wazoo, and your pretty sure the wife has a mistress....but their family drama doesn't matter, stopping the killings does!
When the Hunters are trapped in a ski lodge with a werewolf AFTER they finish a normal ghost Hunt, they could have problems.
Description:
It was a simple enough ghost Hunt at a ski-lodge, husband of a cheating wife tried to find her in the other guy's room, fell off the icy balcony, then some other pair of fools committed adultery in the same room twenty years later...anyway, a little voodoo banished the angry spirit (and scared some cheatin' idjits into returning to their spouses), but its Crossing Over was violent enough to trigger an avalanche, and now everybody's STUCK in the lodge, until Emergency Services clears the road enough for a damn backhoe to come dig out the front door! As if all that wasn't bad enough, somebody was killed in their room last night- -ripped open, and their heart torn out. Heart's missing, probably eaten, and that means one thing...werewolf. Somebody in this lodge is a werewolf, a werewolf with a taste for blood, and if they bite anyone, then THAT person's gonna be a werewolf, too....
It's business as usual at Harvelle's Roadhouse when some Hunters leave to Hunt an abandoned factory ghost - until THEY call for help.
Description:
Well, this is a pickle. It seemed like just another night at Harvelle's Roadhouse, Hunters cleaning their weapons and sharing intel when the phone rang, somebody calling for help. A group of Hunters left for Iowa, only an hour or so away, to deal with what sounded like a standard-issue ghost Hunt. Some dumb kids broke into an abandoned factory, and Something Else was in there with them. One of 'em knew to call the Roadhouse for help...the problem is, one of the Hunters who left a couple hours ago to go save the kids just called, saying they're trapped and everyone else is dead...looks like it's time for another RoadTrip.
Some supernatural war is being fought in Moroa, Illinois, & somebody's going to have to put a stop to it. That lucky somebody is you.
Description:
There's at least two different epic-level supernatural powers duking it out with each other in Moroa, Illinois, maybe even as many as three or four! It seems like both Fae courts and maybe even Heaven and Hell are laying waste to a town smack in the middle of the Land of Lincoln, and someone needs to make it stop, before the entire town is destroyed, and maybe even more than that!
There's a Hunt in Lakin, Kansas, when supernatural storms keep brewing up, making children vanish & depositing monsters. A mysterious strange arrives to supposedly help.
Description:
It's late spring in Lakin, Kansas, which makes it tornado season, but that doesn't explain the bizarre storms that have been happening there lately. It seems someone goes missing every time there's a storm, and mysterious dark creatures have been showing up in town, as well. A crew of Hunter's arrives from the Roadhouse to investigate, but then someone new shows up, someone with a connection to one of the Hunters...
An old friend of Bobby Singer's calls him for help when he discovers an object of supernatural power, then Bobby calls the Roadhouse.
Description:
Rufus Turner is the man who introduced Bobby Singer to Hunting, and Bobby owes him more than a few. So when Rufus calls Bobby from Mena, Arkansas, asking for help, Bobby of course says "Yes." Lucky for Rufus, Bobby just happened to be at the Roadhouse, halfway between his home in Sioux Falls and Mena. Bobby collects the visiting Hunters who are willing to help, and they all trek down to Mena...where they discover Rufus has something he really shouldn't, and they're ALL pretty much up a creek without a paddle in the face of what's coming...
Something's up in Sparta, WI. It looks like witchcraft. So, Jo's Crew decides to investigate. Time for another road trip. (1st of 3)
Description:
Jo Harvelle is out from under her mother's wing by hunting with Bobby Singer and a few other folks. When the Crew looks into some creepy murders in western Wisconsin, it turns out the killer might be human, might be into witchcraft, and might already have summoned their demonic tutor. The Road Trip Crew is headed for the Windy City…because there's been some deaths in Chicago, of people bearing striking similarities to members of The Crew. (2nd of 3)
Description:
Something creepy is going on in Chicago. And, not just for the residents of the biggest city in the midwest, but for The Crew themselves. Someone's stalking them, or something. Whatever it is, it's killing people to make a point, calling The Crew out. Looks like it's time for another Road Trip. Session is the second part of a new Road Trip trilogy. It is self-contained, but plot threads connect to the first and last part.
The RoadTrip Crew might think they've discovered what's really been going on, but it turns out there's even more to it when a powerful demon and something beyond even that get involved… (3rd of 3)
Description:
Things come to a head when supernatural killings lead the RoadTrip Crew to a small town in Missouri. There seems to be a demon on the loose there, but there also seems to be something *else* supernatural working /against/ it, and then there's figuring out how The Crew's muddled Destinies complicate matters... [This session is the third part of a new RoadTrip trilogy. It is self-contained, but connected to the first and second parts.]
It's good to be back at the Roadhouse, spending some time with Ellen Harvelle, able to take the masks off and relax in the company of other Hunters. Of course, nothing good ever lasts.
Description:
Harvelle's Roadhouse is the best place a Hunter of the supernatural could ever find themselves. Whether, on the way to a Hunt or coming back from one. Some Hunters even stop by just to see Ash for some research, or to visit the Harvelles, maybe on their way up to see Bobby Singer in Sioux Falls. But the Hunters at the Roadhouse are going to have to work together to survive the night.
There's a Hunt on in Sioux Falls, but dang if anyone can figure out what's actually goin' on. What could cause so many different kinds of creepy attacks?
Description:
Something horrible is happening in Sioux Falls, maybe even worse than the time when a bunch of dead folks came back. An elderly couple maimed in broad daylight, a couple attacked after dark by either shadows or light and saved by the other, a storm building over the town but never breaking... something's happening, and it can't possibly be good. The only good thing about the situation is that Bobby Singer lives in Sioux Falls, and he knows every Hunter in the country.
Evil being afoot in Sin City is no shocker, right? There has to be at least one demon connected to the place, right? Maybe lots of 'em. But when more than one kind of monster is killing there?
Description:
A Hunt in Vegas could be fun - long as nobody else gets killed. Sure, there's gotta be a demon scooping up condemned souls in Sin City, but those deaths should mostly look natural, right? What's it mean when a couple has their throats torn out by multiple sets of (clearly vampire) fangs, and a rentboy has his heart torn out, werewolf style? Could some demon have amassed so much power it's making other monsters do its dirty work? Why else would multiple monsters strike at once, and what's next?
The Hunters from the Roadhouse need to flee to safe ground in the Utah Salt Flats to escape a demon's plans for them. However, even if such a haven could be found there are other supernatural forces that need to be worried about besides demons...
It seemed like a simple enough Hunt, a rogue Elemental Fetch was smashing buildings, and the party of Hunters from the Roadhouse set a trap for it. Some of the girls who've disappeared have been die-hard fanatics, no reason to give up. And the timing's been odd, if you're the type to notice patterns. Something's in the Quinault Valley, and it's FEEDING on treeplanters.
