Only Shadow Company, the Duke and Duchess’ elite military unit of “franks” (short for “Frankenstein”: A “human” grown, modified through genetics and cybernetics), can covertly enter Tortuga, find the responsible pirate lord, recover the Wave Splitter and show the royal couple’s displeasure by making an example of the pirate lord, their minions and property.
