It was a lovely spring day in Cornwall. No one expected anything except a pleasant day on their horses, jumping fences and following the hounds. Some predator, possibly a wolf, had wandered into Lord Rawlings lands and he had invited his hunt club to find and put down the beast. What they would encounter would stretch the imagination of any sane man or woman.
The party is an embassy to the fearsome Sea Kings of Venus; sent to win the safe return of a number of hostages. If this is done through diplomacy or force doesn't matter, only their safe return does.
Even in a world made smaller by flying ships there are places that are nearly inaccessible. The party will be the 1st to explore the interior of Antarctica.
The clouds of Venus contain huge animals, one of which downed the orbital barge VE-124. Can a party trace its way back through the clouds to civilization and mark a trail to bring back help?
The International Settlement on Venus is surrounded by bloodthirsty warriors. Can the Player Character use an experimental underwater craft to destroy the enemy siege batteries?
The son of the missionary has ridden in with the horrible news that the mission station is under siege by a man eating lion. Can the player characters effect a rescue?
