The staff and students of the Brighter Futures Academy charter school were recently attacked in a disastrous act of supervillainous terrorism. Spared when all their spandexed attackers mysteriously exploded, the characters discovered that they had inherited the demons and superpowers once wielded by their renowned evil-doers. Why they were attacked and what this possession means for their lives remains to be seen, but they might never have a chance to find out. The damage done to the campus in the attack was massive; the school is going to be shut down within the week unless someone makes a enormous cash donation. If these characters ever want to figure out what happened to them, it's time for a crash-course in supervillainy! This is the second adventure in the campaign book No Soul Left Behind. As such, the Brass has put out a call that the Marines are to shut down this little secession before it gets out of hand. So that’s why we’re awake early and about 5 parsecs off course. We’re approaching orbit around Thetis 20 Reticuli in the Episilon Reticuli system. You all might be wondering why we’re here, what with the Garrison there. Well, Thetis is one of WY’s major holdings and they wanted it all to themselves. Long story short, they pretty much wiped out the Garrison forces there. Now we’re the reprisal.
