Remember when Dwarf, Elf, & Halfling were not races, but classes in and of themselves? Or when Clerics didn’t get any spells until 2 nd level? Or when there were 6 different kinds of Saving Throws, and just about every Poison Save was “save or die?” Well, even if you don’t, come and join us for a look at the dawn of D&D. I’ll be running a Classic Basic D&D module (mostly) as written with pregen PCs rolled up (mostly) by Basic rules.

Sacramento, 1850. This gold-mining town has become a social experiment - can supernaturals live openly in society? Tensions flare when cholera devastates the humans, leaving supernaturals unaffecte.
Description:
Sacramento, 1850. California has just officially
become a state, although selection of a permanent capital is pending. This booming gold-mining town has become the center of a great new social experiment - can supernatural creatures such as werewolves and vampires live openly in human society and support the new, mining-based economy? A series of votes will determine the laws under
which this nascent town (and state) will operate.
The mage-run Celerus Railroad Company has begun the construction of rail lines to greater California and eventually, the rest of the USA. Supernatural creatures from out east are seeking California as a land of freedom and opportunity - but so are humans, and not everyone wants to share. Tensions flare when a deadly outbreak of cholera devastates the local human population, leaving supernaturals unaffected.

Sacramento, 1849. In the midst of the gold rush, a mayoral election brings out rivalries, & not all of the voters are human!
Description:
It’s 1849 and the gold rush is booming in Sacramento. As the city prepares for the mayoral election, the streets teem with new residents, and not all of them are human. Vampires, werewolves, and even fey compete for territory and control of the mines, railroads, and saloons. When the dust clears, who will claw their way to the top? We use our homebrew FIRE (Fast, Immersive, RP-Heavy, Engaging) system.
