Bring your best deck to compete against other players from around the world in the largest Magi-Nation event of the year! Prizes will be awarded to all participants, with the best loot going to the top finishers in the tournament. Play will consist of three (3) rounds of Swiss-style pairings, followed by semi-final and final rounds. Standard deck construction rules apply. Players of all skill levels are encouraged to participate!
Players need three (3) sets of one (1) magi, twenty (20) card decks (called a "slinger"). Each magi must be unique (standard rules), but need not be of the same region. Only one copy of any card may be used in each slinger (3 maximum between all slingers). When your magi is defeated, you choose which to play next. Also, you may "tag-out" (Interchange) your magi at the end of your turn! For full rules, see www.dreamtimemedia.org/magi-nation/.

This format is designed to shake up everything you know about the game of Magi-Nation Duel. Restricted play will force you to rethink your strategy by removing some of the most heavily played cards from the tournament environment. To play in a Restricted tournament, your deck may only contain cards found on the Restricted list. All other deck construction rules apply as usual. For full rules, see www.dreamtimemedia.org/magi-nation/.
This interesting variation on Sealed Deck tests your ability to choose the right cards for the job by having you build your deck one card at a time. Each player gets 6 booster packs from the same set, and take turns choosing one card from it to keep before passing it on. Space is strictly limited to six-person groups, so the sooner you register, the better your chance of getting a spot. For full rules, see www.dreamtimemedia.org/magi-nation/.
In this twist on Sealed Deck, players are divided into two teams, each representing one region. Players get one starter and three boosters from the set the region was featured in. Teams then work together to build their decks, sharing strategy, input, and even cards with each other! You may trade freely between members of your own team, but may NOT bring in cards from outside the game. For full rules, see www.dreamtimemedia.org/magi-nation/.
Bring your best deck and compete in a Team-style tournament, where your best player is pitted against the other teamâs best player, second best players against each other, and so on. Fight for the honor of your local team, league, or gaming group, your favorite region, or to prove a point about the worth of a particular strategy. Creative names, battle cries, and themes are highly encouraged! Suggested team size: five (5) people.
Bring your builders set (enough cards to build a solid deck) and get ready to cook up a creative new deck, featuring the âsecret ingredientâ card that will be announced when the tournament begins! Players receive three (3) copies of the ingredient to include in their decks, which will be judged on three points: creative use of ingredient, style, and of course, performance in competition. For full rules, see www.dreamtimemedia.org/magi-nation/.
