Wow! Play a Man-to-Man battle, designed by Gary Gygax & fought on a sand table, like attendees of early Gen Cons. Exciting miniatures game heavily incorporated into D&D!
Long Description:
The Viking Assault of a Norman Seawatch Fort was designed by Gary Gygax, co-author of the original D&D game, first played by members of his Lake Geneva Tactical Studies Association and the Castle & Crusade Society gaming clubs and part of their ongoing campaign in 1970. The referee will be none other than Michael Mornard an early participant in Gary Gygax's wargames club, the LGTSA, and the playtesting of Dungeons & Dragons. One of the few people to be a player in Dave Arneson's Blackmoor, Gary Gygax's and Rob Kuntz's Greyhawk, and M.A.R. Barker's Empire of the Petal Throne. Indeed Michael played Chainmail on Gary Gygax’s own sand table! Test your tactical skills in this exciting miniatures game that is the roots of the original D&D game.
