Three rounds, each round will be approx. 60 min. long. Winner of the game will be the playe with the most victory points at end of game. 200pt. Fleet 1942 year limit on cards, Darkness rules in effect. Battleships and aircraft carriers not permitted. Bring 1 Japanese Axis Fleet build and 1 US Allied Fleet build. This is your chance to learn to play one of Gary Gygax’s favorite games, Tractics by Mike Reese and Leon Tucker, a game Gary helped design, playtest, edit, type, and publish. This WWII armor battle will be conducted on the Legends of Wargaming Sand Table ensconced at the center of the Gen Con 50 Horticultural Hall exhibit on the 50-yard-line of Lucas Oil Stadium! The event will be run by none other than Mike Reese, co-author of Tractics and member of Gary’s original wargame club, the LGTSA. The scenario will be based on the original battle designed by Mike Reese for Tractics' debut at Gen Con in 1971. The event will use vintage Roco tanks and accessories just like the ones used on Gary’s own sand table!
